$954 for 3 liter Wiseco customs?

I am collecting parts for a 3 liter stroker and i asked for a quote on custom pistons from wiseco and they said 158.93 each, includes rings, clips, pins and a skirt coating. so that about $954. seems ok wondered what ya'll thought.

That's crazy. For some reason I had it in my mind that I was going to be paying like 2 or 3 times that for wiseco pistons. Thanks for the hope. My background is in diesel and a set of custom common rail pistons are like 4k so I just figured that's what I was going to have to pay for my m20.

I just looked at VAC pistons and they are like 1k and some change so the wiseco price seems pretty good.

Are those shelf pistons or do you need to fill out the custom order form. Is it a flat top

she said they would be custom. i told her the engine, stroke i was using, bore and compression i wanted and that it would be boosted. and i also said i wanted them to be non interference. she did the rest

Ireland Engineering sells ROSS custom pistons for a little under $900.

You keep saying "she", that worries me. Haha jk.

Most custom pistons run around 800-1200 depending on who you think is better. They've all pretty much been used and proven in racing.

i would be contacting Paul for turbo pistons. coming from an old school pushrod background and now playing with M10,M20 and M30 he knows what it works with these older style engines.

under $1k with all the extra parts isn't bad. some places are $900 but that doesn't include rings or anything like that.
