I just bought a bunch of new parts for my Engine and was just curious about the Throttle Position Switch? Does it require adjustment even though its brand new? Or should it be just plug and play?

I put a .003 feeler gauge between the butterfly and the TB to insure that the switch has continuity at idle or it is useless. Think about it. If you try to set it at precisely closed throttle and you are out .000001 your idle system will not engage. The feeler gauge gives you that margin of safety.
As for adjusting it by "click" rather than using a VOM, it clicks in both directions (opening & closing) so without the meter you do run the risk of an incorrect setting.Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. Email John or Garrett at ninestitch1@gmail.com

Installing a new TPS without verifying its correct operation would be foolish. You should have continuity between the left two contacts with the throttle closed. This continuity should disappear after lifting the throttle about 10% or more. Around 70% open, the two right contacts should show continuity to indicate WOT.
I believe the contacts are labeled A B C. So AB indicates closed throttle and BC indicate WOT.Owner - Bavarian Restoration
