    Idle dropping and rev lag.

So everything is ALMOST great. Intake leak was fixed, car drives pretty well, except for one part.

There seems to be a small bit of lag from 600-1500ish that wasn't there before. It just accelerates slower than it used to, but goes back to normal after that. Also, when I push the clutch in, or otherwise drop to idle, it dips like it's about to stall.

It was just in the shop for an intake gasket, so maybe it has something to do with the TPS? More straightforward option would be a going ICV, right?

TPS can be rotated I believe, I'd put a multimeter to test the outputs, I think bentley manual tells you how to test the tps. It might also just need a good cleaning on the inside.

And you can spray some carb cleaner in that ICV if it's sticking.

How long have you driven the car after all the fixes were done? The ECU tried its best to adapt to the air leak in order to drive as close to normal as possible, so now that you've fixed the leak, it has to adapt again.

Are you absolutely sure you have no vacuum leaks at all? Carb cleaner only works if you're lucky. A DIY or shop-equipped smoke test is the way to go.

Do you have a copy of the Bentley? They explain how to test/adjust the TPS with a screwdriver and multimeter.

I have the bently. TPS was changed in February, ICV isn't sticking.

It was smoke tested by a shop, who then fixed it. I've driven the car roughly 1300 miles since, so I think that's enough time to adapt.

That's what I think it might be, that the TPS was bumped when they were pulling it all apart to fix the gasket.

If significant leaks were found in the smoke test, that test needs to be repeated now that repairs have been done.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I haven't had time to fiddle with the TPS, but I did pull the battery today. The car ran great for a bit, 700 RPM idle, smooth power delivery and such, but then it settled back down to how it was before, so I think that means it isn't a DME problem.

try soaking the icv in some form of carb cleaner ie, acetone, mineral spirits, spraying carb cleaner. check the icv hose for cracks and check to see if it has that diaphragm in the hose.... also try running the car with O2 sensor disconnected its really close to the battery tray.
hell idk sometimes you just have to wing it. JW

ICV isn't gunked up, it moves freely. No Vacuum leaks. O2 was just replaced.
