    It's one of those things that if you don't know about it, you just wouldn't. Most of the time they get left off when doing head work. Which is just a sign that their might be other issues laying about. I mean if they have parts left over and just leave it that way, what else did they forget or half ass.

    You can replace the seals, bracket, and clean the contacts. Should be pretty good after that. If the pins and sockets are too warn you can replace those.

        Heres the delphi/packard gt 280 plugs. There bout $7 each. For a crimper try and get the ratcheting type. Gives a consistent crimp tension so there's no worries.

            I've had good luck with the sargent brand of crimpers. Ideal makes some descent ones too. You can get one's from delphi specific to what ever connector series you use. As is the case with most manufacturers.

                I like my Klein crimper/stripper not crazy expensive but works much better than the other no name ones I have

                    Oh get the shrink plastic ones for semi trucks they are beefy couldn't tell ya the brand off the top if my head though

                          It was a bitch, but I special ordered all the pins for the connector and rebuilt it. Much better now!
