    How do I tune a D'sylva chip?

I just bought my E30 and it came with a Mark D chip in it. I don't know anything about this chip. I had a Vishnu Tuning Proceed on my e90 that I could tune myself, upload maps & such via a laptop. What can I do with the Mark D chip? The car is idling poorly and smells like it's running rich. Do I have to take it somewhere to get tuned, if so where? I emailed Mark but no response yet.

try out a stock chip to see if it is the chip or something else.

you can't tune the chip - it's a ROM, it can only be written to once.

Not true, you need a chip reader/burner ($50) and a program called TunerPro (free).
