Hey, I was doing some work on my engine and noticed my intake boot was off - I have tried with all my might to slip it back on to the intake manifold but it just wont. Any tips or tricks to get it back on?

Disconnect everything in front of the boot then you can put the boot back on the intake. Check the boot for cracks while your are at it. There is no point of putting a cracked boot on.Comment

FWIW heat the boot. Heat gun, hair dryer or anything. Brush a little caliper grease, silicon grease or soap around the T/B and it will slip on easy. Same applies for most rubber hoses.Comment

I don't want to be a douche here, but why are you using "might" to slip an intake boot on?
Start from the bottom, get a portion overlapping and just ease over. If its any more difficult than that, you have a different problem, probably still have the clamp too tight.Comment
