    rocker arm question

Can you use the rocker arms from a m20b25 on a m20b27. I'm planning to swap over rocker arms from this I head that I have to my eta head. Reason being I broke an exhaust rocker on my 86 eta (cylinder one). I know I know yes just the rocker arm

physically things will fit but i would not recommend swapping in a used rocker arm from one engine to another. the rocker and cam "wear in" together so using a rocker that is worn in on one cam wont mate well with a different cam and could wear out extremely fast.
ive yet to see a moderate to high mile engine have a cam with no wear, same with rockers and i have stripped about a dozen heads in the last coupe of years.

Examine the rockers where they ride on the cam. If a dip hasn't been won in the wear pad they can be used on any cam.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I would definitely recommend new rockers or at least replacing the broken with new.

I might just replace the one rocker.. not the ideal thing to do but i dont want to spend money on the eta. Reason behind my question is I want to rebuild the I motor completely. So if I could reuse the rockers into the eta just to have something to drive for the time being I will do that. I dont care if the motor wont last me the next month. Also the wear on the cam is minimal. No major scouring. No dips.

                Anyways thank you everyone
