    Throttle Body heater leak repair

Alrighty guys, it's happened to me now. The TB heater is dripping coolant. I know how to fix this (I can't delete it, I live in New England), but I'd like an opinion on parts. I called my dealer, and the parts guy said that it would be 32 bucks for the flange/ cover thing, and the gasket....not including the screws. I'm pretty savvy, and I like to do things on the cheap. so then I found this:

What do you think? free shipping even. and also, do any of you's know the size of the 3 screws? I'd prefer to go buy my own at a hardware store, maybe with flathead tops instead of torx.
    any suggestions are much appreciated!

what is wrong with the flange and why would you replace it? is it badly corroded? often its just the gasket which you can use some sealant to fix if you cant find a "proper" cork gasket

The flange usually ends up corroded to shit on the hose fittings too, even right down to the thermostat housing. It's only pretty thin alloy, it's worth buying to save you finding out the hard way and having to wait longer for parts.
Just a little project im working on

You got it man. The thing's in pretty bad looking shape, so I'd rather not take the chance. also, since the gasket is cork, I can't use sealant because the gasket won't seat right.

I ordered the parts from AutoHausAZ.com not bad pricing, and they had all the pieces.

So for those screws, I went out with my torx kit to see what size they were...but the heads are crusty. I'm pretty sure its a T-20, can anyone confirm?
I'll be spraying them with PB Blaster each day untill the parts come.

They may be t20, but that doesn't tell you what the threads are. You could remove one and take it with you to the hardware store. And you should replace it with another torx...like I said in your thread of the same name from two days ago...

Those bolts get stuck on there pretty good, sometimes you'll have to pull the throttle body to get at them. Factor in buying another throttle body gasket while'you're at it or bust out the rtv.

Yep, well as per the suggestion, I'm buying 3 more oem screws and scrapping my hardware store idea.... All I wanted to know is if they actually are t20. It seems to be the best fit, but I want to be sure
