Q5Quint is completely right. It is kind of amazing what you can get when you start doing aero mods

Be careful here, aerodynamics can be finicky: http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_2160/...popularArticle (TLDR: Do your diligent testing. One of this guys iterations ended up with him getting backwards airflow through his hood scoop. Yes, backwards!)

haha! Or could swap in a m10, I was getting about 35mpg highway with that little guy.

Holy moly this website is hilarious:

      New Ideas:

      Wheel skirts.
Underbody pan (make sure radiator is still flowing properly)
delete roof rack, spoilers, side mirrors.
      tape all body seams
      chop top
      add boat tail
      ride height reduction
      low viscosity oil
      increased c/r pistons
      power steering/ac/mech fan delete
      synthetic wheel bearing grease
      synthetic lube transmission and diff
low rolling resistance tires- increase pressure
      weight reduction

This bastard is getting 70mpg out of a geo!

Just don't sit in the back or the rear end will hit the ground.
