Is it worth $150... cause there are other know brands going around that price... im actually thinking about buying the ecu from sssquid for 250.. is it worth it? How much of a gain do you make?
Never messed with miller maf, but from what I hear it's really hard to tune. Once you get it right it works good but I don't think you need it really. Heard okay things about markd. Dinan I a what I have right now and it's meh. Better then stock but nothing amazing. I would still go with sssquid. When you order you can tell him any upgrades you have and I think he goes from there.
not one car is norcal that has a miller maf runs right... they require tuning and if you a bitching about a $250 chip then you dont have the money for a maf that will work right. I have a MarkD in my 325is, had a dinan in my 325iC, have a turner in my 87 eta and all have been great. seem people check out and get ebay chips and watch their engines pop, others no issue. but personally i would only get a MarkD or Tuner (jimC) chip.

Yea im not worried ab the money right now... im stuck between markd nd jimc... ive heard that they did a test between them too but it was the turner vs. Markd 93 octane and apperently markd was a little better.. but we dont see much of 93 in ny.. so im guessing jimc but lot of people are saying sssquid is the new chip
I've driven cars with both chips. trust me, unless you are senna you wouldn't know the difference. a refreshed engine does more to change a car than any chip i've run.
I've driven a car with a bavauto chip. it was more mild than the dinan chip. so i'd for sure avoid it.
