    Very strange noise

Hey guys can you help me figure out this noise coming from my m20. Check out this video:

    Recent work:
Water pump, thermostat, fan clutch, fan, rotor and engine oil (level is correct).
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like your fan is hitting something after the rev.

Thanks, yeah I'll check that out tomorrow in the day light. I texted this video to my friend who is a mechanic. He mentioned it could also be a loose belt. I'll check those two items out tomorrow.

Wouldn't that depend on if that video is when the car is warm? If it's cold, would the fan even spin?

Have you watched his video? The fan was spinning.

its probably your lower radiator hose being hit by the fan, just an assumption

Well, first of all, you need to do a valve adjustment. I can hear that for sure....

The sound you're worried about sounds like the fan blades scraping the radiator at some point....

Sounds like something down in the timing belt cover.

Pull your valve cover you could have a loose rocker arm bouncing around under the cover
