NGK dont fit?!?!

    Guys, look at this. It is really straight forward.

    This is a NGK plug with a fixed, NON removable tip. Note there is no hole in the top of the tip and it is darker, coated steel.




    Here is removable one. Note the threaded hole in the top of the tip and the removable tip is aluminum.





    If your NGK plug does not look like this, you cannot remove the tip !

      my plug looked like the one on top, so it was confusing. tip still removed.

        I did the same thing.. Except it took me 3 hours and a trip to AutoZone to figure it out. I almost dropped a hundred bucks on new wires too.

            it's not. lol

            also, stop buying platinum plugs for M20s! don't even ask them for an M20 plug, they will almost always give you the wrong part. give them a specific part number like BPR5ES or I think there's also a ZGR5-something that works.

              Had this problem when I did my tune up in march. Just went with the plugs already in the car after I bought it. Swapped them with new autolites. Saved me $11. They work fine
