    Fuel line questions/confused

So I replaced the steel fuel lines on my '87 325e and put everything back together..now the car won't start..I may have hooked the the rubber fuel line to the wrong steel lines?

In this picture I colored the lines to help better understand what I'm trying to explain. The one in red is the hose that comes from the FUEL pressure regulator(this hose should hook up to the feed line correct?) The one colored in yellow coming out of that canister should hook up to the return line? And the one in blue hooks up to the last steel line? I dint even know what this last hose in blue is tbh....Thanks in advance

The fpr hose is your return line and the one from the canister handles vapors not fuel

blue line is feed. red line is return. yellow comes from gas tank to pressurize the system.

glad you posted this i was looking for some fuel hose routing info.

it won't hurt your car to start it with them hooked up wrong, i did it before on my mk2 jetta and all was well.
