Bremi or Bosch Distributor Cap & Rotor?

    Hello R3V Members,

I'm planning to replace my distributor cap and rotor and I'm stuck between the two brands of Bremi or Bosch.

Is there a real difference between the two? Is one better than the other?

I've been recommended to stay with bosch since it's what was originally with the car and I was also told by another that bremi is much better than bosch.

I would like to know your thoughts/insight, suggestions/recommendations on this situation.

    Thank you all very much!!!

Both will do the same thing. IMO it's the same thing as both will work, just personal preference.

Got a Bremi on my car now - has been fine. Never really thought about it, picked it up cheap, works.

If you had a 2002, then Bremi, especially the rotor.

For the E30, it really won't matter much.

The Bremi's are still very well- made.

I no longer have that same faith in Bosch.

now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves

Would it be fine to go bremi on the distributor cap and rotor and bosh ignition coil?

That would be fine, seen it countless times, never heard of an issue.

Great! When I get paid and finally decide, at least on one end, I'll be saving a bit getting Bremi for the cap and rotor.
