Will my stroker benefit from m30 afm

So I am looking for an m30 AFM for my stroker build until I go MS in a year or so. Motor is a 2.9 (m54b30 crank and pistons, and S50 rods.) 288 cat cam, a little head work. Problem is I cannot find one and I am really a wondering if it will help me at all or enough to keep bothering. I am going to have SSSquid do the tune for me.

I have a refurbished M30 AFM ready for sale. Check out more info at our website. With the larger AFM you will be able to get more air volume intake. PM me if interested in it.

without a custom tune on the dyno id wait until you get MS and then you can just use a pretty looking silicone elbow etc to save stuffing around tuning it twice. when i did standalone there was big gains over a custom tuned M30AFM setup (i later found out that the tune i had with standalone was far from perfect to so the gains would be even better again).

if you are never going to get MS up and running then do it. spend time trying to find an unmolested one that is in good shape

I plan to buy one of the MS kits a guy on here builds. I just have two track cars going ATM and have to restraint my self from spending loads at once. I try to budget but it always fails haha. I just want to get the e30 chugging but still running decent for now.

you can get it running decent on the M20AFM as that was all that people used way back.

I've not used the Squid chips but people seem happy. to get an M30AFM and one of his chips is reasonably economical IMO compared to other solutions so still might be worth it to test it out if you like testing things out and playing around

IIRC the 325is in South Africa which used a 2.7L Alpina special utilized an M30 AFM with a custom chip for that model so there is some merit in the M30 AFM on a stoker
