Header close to a/c line and o2 sensor question

So a few years ago I bought some (ebay?) headers off a guy on here, well I finally installed them with my exhaust. I have had a few problems that I have solved on my own like bending the one header down to clear the firewall/floor and getting a s14 oil filter for my m20b27 to clear the headers. Now my problem is the very front header runner is about 1/2" away from my a/c line and I have no idea what to do about it. I really don't want to delete my a/c.

Soooooo, on to the few questions.

    1) Can I just wrap the a/c line with exhaust wrap to help protect it?

    2) Also the o2 sensor is not long enough to make it to the merge pipe, is there a longer one I can use like a e34 535i sensor or something similar?

    3) Or say screw getting a new O2 sensor and just install my Innovative Wideband LC-1 using this http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=248489 installation guide?

    Thanks

I bought a 3 ft piece of heat shield that had Velcro so you could install it without disconnecting anything. Cost about $38 but my AC makes ice cubes
