M20 head gasket/ ting belt help

Hey all; currently halfway through getting the timing belt off and I've run into a conundrum. I can figure out for the life of me how to get the distributor rotor off. I've used a dremel, still too soft for a screwdriver. Any tips?

well, I'm sorry, but I don't think this timing belt job is for you.

Step 1. Have all the proper tools.

you would have to grind off the 3 bolt heads totally down to rotor in order to pull it.

If previous owner used too much force to tighten the 3 bolts then they would simply strip even with proper allen wrench.

First try buying an ez out from any tool supply store. If that doesn't work, try getting a Dremel and grind a groove in the head of the screw to simulate a flat head screw, then remove with a flat head screw driver.

The radiator is out, right? Cause that is soooooooooo totally worth it.

THIS ^ since you have everything apart

I used an extractor set cause I had no room with the radiator still on.

I've hammered a torx bit into stripped allen heads on the rotor before and that worked

Appreciate it everyone. Had vise grips, but so shitty that they fell apart... So project is shelved until I can get some good ass tools

Good tools are always helpful but I know you can bust the rotor apart and remove the bolts pretty easily with pliers once you have more room. Rotors are a wear item most people could use replaced anyway.
