Is this seta or an eta? help a brother out

Hey guys.

Long story short the rocker arm on my e21 320/6 broke and atleast one of the valves broke.
I found a 525e engine for cheap and was thinking about building a stroker out of it. But it's located ~300 miles away from me and i'd like to know what i'm getting before doing the trip. Owner doesn't seem to know much about it.

Is there a way to recognize if it's a seta or an eta from these pics?

Looks like an eta to me. Basic motronic engine harness gives it away. Hard to see the engine itself with the crappy pics.

Thanks! that's what i thought.
So mating this block with a 731 head would give me a budget b27 stroker, right?
with 325i intake, fpr, injectors etc i should be in the m20b25 hp teritory, if i'm not mistaken (was reading up on this a lot over the past couple days)

As it is from euro e28, it could be any of the 5 different eta engines:

Ask the seller to check that engine code, just above the sump, near the alternator support:

Check head casting number:

885 - supereta (your best expectations)

Getting through these codes and if it is catalyst equipped low compression motor with 200 head - IMHO not worth the hassle if you have to pay for the engine. Might be worth it if it is 10.2 or 11 compression early motor.
