I can't give you any right now as my build is on going so I don't know how the outcome would be. Im not using their kit but probably would have went more that way if I had a clear plan from the beginning.

+1 for a good proper stroker M20 build. Now with a proper itb setup on the market and plenty of turbo options it's getting harder to justify swapping the engine needlessly.

In full disclosure I work at Ireland Eng. and therefore inherently somewhat biased towards the older stuff.

Awesome! Could you give me any kind of numbers to expect if I were to go with the 3.0L stroker kit?

190hp-275hp depending on your stroker specs, how long you want the engine to last, tuning (powerband), and you (or your mechanics) abilities. Not to mention what you do to the rest of the engine (exhaust, induction, cam, portwork, etc.)

if you use a basic stroker kit with mild cam, basically stock head and intake manifold, headers, ~190-210whp is about what you end up with.

you need to use big cam, ported head, new inlet manifold to start to make "big" numbers

That itb kit from australia picked up like 30rwhp on a stock m20b25 just from adding the kit and ms. Cant go wrong with itbs, the sound and price is well worth it!

Thanks everyone for helping me out! I greatly appreciate it. I have set my mind on stroking my M20! Thanks again. Any further information regarding a stroker would be appreciated!

If you can find an s52 (comes in the e36 M cars) they have 240hp in their stock form. I rode in a s52 e30 with a chip and 3.25 rear diff and that car was a rocket. I am looking at a complete s52 swap right now ( engine, trans, harness) for $1200.

If I were to go that route, what is a good source for the engine? I looked on eBay for a first guess and the prices were 2,000 plus. Also, if you could tell me, how reliable is the S52? Is there a way I could still have A/C, etc.? Sorry if these seem like nooby questions, but in all honest I am a noob so far! haha. Hope to hear from you soon.

like any engine the issue is it depends how many miles and how well it has been looked after.
