So my car is burning oil after this rebuild. It's a 2.7 stroker on an iX with 9.8:1 CR.
The car also has a tough time starting.
So I did a compression test. Here are my results. Sorry for the chicken scratch. And 'Dry Max' means I cranked the engine dry the maximum number of times to reach the highest compression... (Usually 10 cranks or so). The regular Dry Test was 5 cranks for each cylinder.
I noticed the plugs for cylinders 1-4 smelled like gas, too...
I will do a leak down test next. Just wanted to see if anyone had thoughts on these numbers for the compression test. Thanks!
