m20b25 blue smoke now 1252 code

The car started up normal then when I put it in gear and started moving it started a heavy misfire and puffed out blue smoke immediately with a heavy gasoline smell. I'm going to do a leakdown test to get some idea of what's going on. Has anyone ever experienced this?

blue smoke means your burning oil, there are many posts about this. Could be rings or leaky valve stem seals

Turned out to be a headgasket. I know blue smoke is oil. I was more curious about the gas smell.. my only theory is the motor was not getting enough compression to burn all the fuel.

Now I'm getting a 1252 code. Injector #2. The car is an 87is no c191 connector for the injector harrness. Can it really be as simple as clogged or faulty injectors? All the connectors are fine. Compression is <10% off. Brand new bosche sparkplugs, cap rotor, new 8mm wires.
