Methanol injection on a na m20

So I've been thinking on methanol injection on my white ix. It will be running a high compression motor. I was wondering if I where running 91 octane on a 13:1 compression motor with methanol would my car still run well or would it still need 93?

I don't want to run 93 or e85 because it's not a readily available fuel.

If you have experience with this please let me know.

I have my reasons for running 13:1 instead of 11:1.

Depends on your cam. You can have a 15:1 engine and run 87 if you have the "right" cam to do so.

The cam will be a 292 roller cam.

if you are talking about spraying then i doubt it is worth it on a NA car, the gains over the base fuel without spray will be significantly less than what you get with FI, might aswell build it for whatever fuel you have access to

One of the main reason turbo car benefit is that the engine is being fed air that is not ambient air temperature. If you go with a high compression motor meth would help if you get bad fuel to protect your motor from detonation, however a more variable controller for the meth might be need to regulate the flow of meth for an N/a application.
