Okay so I let it cure for more than two days, with 2 thick layers of RTV all the way around and another thin layer ontop of that.
I went to the gas station today and was hopeful because it had no sign of leaking. Then by the time I got to work it was leaking just the same as before.
My last attempt at this will be taking the manifold back off again, taking the tube and O ring out, putting RTV on the lip inside the crankcase, putting the O ring back on and RTV over that again, then putting RTV around the tube before putting it back in there.
If I build another M20, I'll probably do this. Not that I've ever had trouble with the bitch tube I just like the cut of its jib.
Yeah, I have seen that too, just seems a lot of time, money and hassle for what it it....think about threading that thing into the underside of the manifold!
Closing SOON!

Could you provide us with a picture of the actual leak? Maybe something else is leaking - or maybe the tube is bent?
But im sure you've checked that like 300x already =D
Sorry guys I've been working on my other M20 lately
but today it looks like I'll be able to put my intake manifold back on. This time being sure to put RTV under the washer. If it leaks again I'll take pictures.
