M20 sounds awful after timing belt change

Did the timing belt on my 88 325ix, and now it is making this horrible noise. Uploaded a video to youtube, hopefully the metallic ticking sound can be heard.

It changes with revs, and sounds like its coming from the a/c / water pump area.

Other things I changed while I was doing timing belt:

    - tensioner
    - water pump
    - thermostat and housing
    - rotor and distributor cap
    - all v belts

It sounds terrible and I have no idea what it could be. Please help!

    Thanks,
    Rob

It sounds like your fan is hitting something. Would make sense if it changed with rmp too! make sure you have it the right way

Definitely not the fan. I can spin the fan by hand and no interference, and also the noise stops when I stop the car and the fan takes a few seconds to spin down.

Thanks for the help guys. Turned out that two bolts on the water pump pulley came loose and it was rattling back and forth with every revolution.

Fixed it and it now purrs like the m20 tractor kittens do! Thanks.

Yeah I was a bit shocked they came loose. I was worried I dropped a socket in the water pump or something haha
