    m20t issues

    Hello rev,

So my 2.7i turbo m20 is having some issues. Car is running on MS2, car starts fine, drives fine on cold start. It drives fine for a few minutes at operating temperatures, but after about 15 minutes when I try to roll into boost the car starts to hesitate. AFR holds at a steady 11ish. I finally got my tuner studio set up on macbook today. Logged all of the data from a 15-20 minute drive. If anyone would be willing to interpret it for me that would be great. I'd love to get some insight from that before I pull the turbo to check the plugs.
    42lb Bosch fuel injectors
    - wasted spark ignition
    - 6 chevy Yukon coils
-ngk bpr7es plug gap is at .026-.028
    - on a map sensor

    Thanks guys.

11:1 is really rich- on a n/a car that would be 'soft' or 'boggy'...

    that's all I got.

now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves

Nice build. What are your intake temps when you're running pig rich? If they're super hot, compensate by pulling fuel from the MAT correction table. When you dial your boost in, you should be running in the low 12's. 11's is wasting fuel and risks cleaning the oil off the cylinder walls.

Intake temps are usually high 80s to mid 90s. Sometimes spikes to low 100. I've never seen it past 102.

I've began datalogging again. Under WOT in 3rd gear the car seems to be leaning out in full boost reaching mid 13s in the AFR and its bogging. So I'm guessing bad fuel pump, injector, leaky line?

The car should not bog from a fuel related problem if your wideband is correctly reading mid-13's. That's not a safe A/F, but it will certainly make power. I don't think there's anything wrong with your fuel system from what you've described. Inadequate fuel flow would show up as a lean wideband reading.

Are you running a tune that used to work perfectly? Or are you still trying to dial her in? If you're still tuning, shoot for those mid to low 12's, starting from the rich side.

What is your ignition timing when the car starts to run crappy?
