The simplest way to do it if you're worried about missing something is to work your way backward from the front of the engine one valve at a time. Just wait until the cam lobe is pointing away from the lifter (up) before adjusting. If you want to speed the process up, make a little chart of the valves and do them as the cam lobes start to point up. Just mark the valves you've adjusted on the chart as you go.
Download the service manual and follow the steps, it's very easy. I work very slowly and this job takes me about an hour from jacking it up to firing up the motor when I'm done.
If you have a manual transmission, you can do what I do. I don't feel like messing with the crank bolt so I put the transmission in 5th gear and jack up one rear wheel. I then turn the wheel by hand, or with an extension on one of the lug nuts, to turn the motor over. Make sure to disconnect the battery first. I have a limited slip differential and it still works, just make sure it's jacked securely as the opposite wheel will be trying to rotate, eg: it will be trying to push the car off the jack.
I put a little dot of silver sharpie paint on each rocker, or use a grease pencil or whatever, to mark them as I go along.
