Changed the thermostat now the oil pressure light stays on!

Does the wiring for the pressure switch run anywhere near the thermostat? The thermostat came out so fast and easy!

May be a coincidence. Check the switch see if anything came undone.

I think the wire comes up from the switch under the oil filter mount passes right in front of the timing cover, under the thermostat and disappears into a harness. Any body know the color of the wire? The Bentley wiring diagram does not show the pressure switch just the level sensor, page 15-51, as far as I can see.

Yes, I'm talking about the light next to the battery light below the speedo, one of the warning lights, it has the oil can with the drip at the spout.

Thanks for that info. I have determined that the sensor went out following the Bentley troubleshooting. The wiring does pass under the thermostat and I had a very tight zip tie on it to keep it from hitting the fan belt so it threw me off thinking it was the wiring.
