    Distributor Cap

Any recommended brands for replacement distributor caps and rotors?

I have a 1989 automatic 325iX, just got it last week and I'm just slowly going through and replacing all the stuff I can (timing belt, water pump, so on)

Also, any additional recommendations for things to replace on a new purchase?

Bremi, here. And no Bosch wires for me, ever again.

water hoses, if they're original, and fuel lines too. These things are getting THAT old.

Brake fluid, at least, and hoses if they're original. Which they will be.

...and lots of other stuff, like your CSB and guibo if they're not in good shape...

You could test the wires too to see if it actually needs them. Simple resistance test across each length. Each value is different because the length of the wire
