You are in denial. Your engine is history. You might be able to drive the car around the block, but anything further than that will require a tow truck to bring it back home.
Ran m20 with no oil, now sounds terrible😳

The engine is gone. That's it. Need another engine. Lesson learned. Check oil before you ever drive the car.Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

Lubrication is a coverup by the government in order to rake in money and keep the paki's busy while we invade Iraq. You will be fine, engines probably on its period. Just keep rooting her until you wind up with blood on your cock. Only then will you know the truth.
p.s your engine is seizing up.Boris - 89 E30 325i

Update
Okay guys, I have an update about the car. Refilled it with oil and drove it around the block a little and after about 30 miles it seems to run much better!! It has basically all of its power back and doesn't sounds like a diesel truck lol. Still is a little louder than normal at around 3.5k rpm, and some odd sounds that kinda sounds like grinding at about 1.5k rpm and then it stops the noise at 2k, but it doesn't always do that. Seems to be all good!;DComment

really................. WOW............
Ok 1st your compresion is likely fine thats the least of your worries . Your rod and main bearings are SHOT.....
You need to drain your oil out and look for metal fragments, I am willing to bet that it comes out looking very pearlessent with lots of fine bearing material in it. After you pull the filter cut it open and look and see how much of your bearings are in there. That diesel noise you hear is ROD KNOCK, she be junk and every foot you drive is pure borrowed time.....
With as hard as it is to source good running M20 power plants used now a days, I would park it sooner rather than latter, and start looking for a good running M20 variant, or start collecting rebuild parts. Bearings, rings, water pump, oil pump and pick up, master gasket kit, head bolts, timing set, for bare minimum starting point. Hope you didnt fubar your crank too badly by spinning a bearing and need a new one, or need a few new rods and pins........The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money. -Alexis de TocquevilleOriginally posted by FusionIf a car is the epitome of freedom, than an electric car is house arrest with your wife titty fucking your next door neighbor.

BMWs are tough. Drive it till it ventilates. It may last a long while.
I've taken apart a few M10's that should have grenaded, and yet they were still running.
Budget for an engine as soon as you can, though. Especially if you think track days are in your future.
tnow, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george gravesComment
