Do any of the accessories from the M42 work on an M20? Mainly interested in the alternator and the power steering pump. I'm doing an M20 swap in a 318 and the M42 had a remanufactured alternator and PS pump so I'd prefer to use those if they will work on the M20.

Does the M42 use a serpentine belt? -
It does, and I see where you are going with that. I'll just have to mock it up I guess. I'm going to swap the M20 pulleys and mounting brackets over (they are different) and see if the belts are going to align.Comment

Just a quick update. The alternator mounting brackets are different enough that it isn't going to work. However, since the mounting brackets on the power steering pump are both removable and transferable, I think that one is going to work.Comment
