    Oversized pistons cylinder wall clearance

Hello community, I am rebuilding a m20b25 engine. I am going to bore out the block. I am got the mahle piston .50mm oversized part number is 081 15 02 from Bavauto.com
Took it to machine shop and thy are asking for the piston to cylinder wall clearance on the new pistons.
I contacted Bavauto and no response back.
Does anyone know what the clearances might be.Help!! Thanks.

If they are asking for that, take it to another machine shop

So you are saying that those measurements should not be a factor when boring it?
are the mahle pistons a good brand.
      Thanks man.

They are definitely a factor but they should be familiar with it, there is a standard to go by. That is a great brand 8^)

Edit: you have given them the pistons as well? A good shop will bore each cylinder to each piston

Yeah, hell, even I know where to look for that number. And seem to remember it's
something like .0015". But would check the Bentley before setting up the Van Norman...

...no, sadly, I do not have anything made by Van Norman...
