    1984 325e Turbo/ITB/Injector upgrade...

    Hi Guys,

New to the forum here so I'm not sure if this question has been asked (I'm sure it has...) but I'm a new owner of a 1984 325e. It's got the 2.7l m20, and I feel like it's lacking some power...

I've been looking around and I've seen KAMotors have a few things I'm interested in:

    60lbs injectors (POWER!!!)
ITB kit (I LOVE the sound of ITB's)
Canyon Crusher V2 Turbo Kit (POWER!!!!)
    Big intercooler (obviously needed lol)
And Tune (another obvious thing to do)

    Here's my dilemma:
The car is 1984, so it's got some miles (270+/-), I have a goal of putting an s85 motor in it a one point (once I finish up my "super cooper" project) so should I even bother -- BUT I do like the m20 engine and I've been told to do a "Frankenstein motor" instead so I get a ton of torque, so there's a chance I'll just keep it, and not do a swap... Or is there another direction I should go down?

All thoughts and opinions are welcomed just be nice :)-- this is a long term project, probably going to keep the car till I die type of thing... lol

    Thanks for your time.

Make a 2.7i stroker. start here. its the cheapest and easier way to add any power to your eta.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

ITB's aren't going to add anything to a turbo setup, just way more potential boost leaks/maintenance/cost/difficulty. I'd throw an 885 head/intake/harness on it and go from there.
