Throttle body stuck-on good, any ideas?

Hey guys, I need to remove my throttle body. I've removed all the hoses, removed the four 10mm bolts. All that's left is to pull it off, but boy is it really attached. I pulled hard enough on it to move the whole car around, but the throttle body hasn't budged at all.

Figure I'd ask here before I started trying to hammer a chisel between the TB and the intake manifold

Original problem solved (I tapped it with a hammer), new problem popped up.

How do I open the TPS up to adjust the screws?

I want to open it up like this:

... but I can't figure out how to get the box open.

You aren't supposed to open them. If it's broken just get a replacement that works

Brand new, the halves are sealed so they won't be opened. What are you trying to do?

I was following this Pelican Parts page walkthrough, which said to adjust screws on the bottom of the switch. I found those pictures of the inside of the switch-- which I now realize is a different switch-- that had me believing these screws were located inside the switch. I now realize it must be talking about the two screws holding the whole switch part onto the throttle body. I didn't think those would have effected it.

I guess it only meant to adjust those two obvious screws, no reason to try to take it apart.

          Article in question: http://www.pelicanparts.com/bmw/tech...eplacement.htm

Since I'm not getting any continuity between the first two pins at all, the switch must be bad.

Continuity is either on wot or idle and not in between so make sure you have the right pins for the appropriate butterfly position. As,long as you have it out drill a small hole just above the S in Bosch tomallow blowby to drain so it doesn't foul the switch

The tps is adjusted by loosening the screws that hold it on and rotating the assembly. See how the slots are elongated. That is the adjustment range.
