    Alright cool . Thanks for the help. I'm just having starting issues with it and I'm trying to narrow it down. It'll turn over and die. Sometimes idle like crap then die. Not until I start it a few times does it hold idle. And stay on. It's bugging the crap out of me .

    Also can anyone tell me anything about that pulse sensor that goes on the spark plug wire? I'm running a I/is head on a 2.7 block apparently and can't find details as to what that wire does or where it connects to. Any insight would be greatly appreciated. I'm completely new to this e30 stuff. Thanks

    bpr7es is a popular turbo plug. PO probably just never went back to stock when selling the car.

    Well I have a old thread about me trying to find out what my car had. Apparently car was running a turbo setup. Hence the colder plug. Gonna switch back to stock today

    Also ... FYI head gasket was just done by previous owner. Or so I was told but the head looks clean as hell to me so I believe it. Also the engine is a 2.7 with a is head from what I've been researching.

    Well if it was coolant where would it be coming from? I'm not sure but it seems all the plugs have it. Maybe wd40? I didn't do this and I just got car not too long ago. Also car had a previous turbo setup and had a turbo chip... hence the plugs I'm guessing and the running rich part. I just switched the chip out. From my understanding these cars don't have spark plug seals like Hondas do. So it's definitely not coolant. The fluid was in too part of plug. Not inside... if it was coolant my guess would be that it'd be on then plug itself from combustion chamber? Correct me if I'm wrong.

    yeah if it was enough coolant to coat the plug, I think you would know by the huge clouds of smoke coming out of the engine.

    I hope I'm wrong, but from those pictures that fluid looks kinda coolant-ey to me. If that's the case OP, that would not be a good sign.

    BPR7ES are 2 heat ranges cooler than stock IIRC. There's not neccesarily anything wrong with them, but I would switch to a BPR5ES for a stock engine.

    Funny thing is when you search for these plugs, they are also used in lawn mowers. lol
