Squid can make you a custom chip for 1.0 with the 731 head swap in case you don't want to swap to the newer Motronic.

Humor me, try some starting fluid. It may not tell you exactly which component is not working properly, but it will tell you if it's lack of fuel.

I don't know why you keep going back to 1.0 but a little research will help you see why it's not the best choice....humor me :)

SOOooo...I bought 2 new reference sensors since there are 2, but only replaced the one with the gray connector. Both new and old ohm'ed out at 804 but the new one appears to have solved the problem.
