    Wrong Thermostat Housing?

Hey everyone - I just purchased a thermostat housing for my 1990 325ix and I think it's the wrong one. From what I can tell, it might be from an early model but I'm not 100% sure. Everything looks like it will work . . . but there is the one hose attachment at the bottom that is at a 90 degree angle vs going straight down. Can I use this for my car, or do I need to get another one? Thanks!

That goes to the throttle body heater, or gets bypassed directly to the back of the block.

you'll be fine as long as your hose selection has correct shape to it.

Check the diameter of the hole inside. I think the early thermostat has a larger disc on it.
