    M20 Crush-Ring Headgasket

Does anyone have experience with a VAC crush-ring headgasket? any advantages/disadvantages over a O-ring?
Ive seen some reviews for s54's and s52's but no m20's

Used them on 2002's, a little.

Usually not needed unless you are doing something marginal
        like drawthrough turbo...

You need to ('should') surface the head every time they're changed.

I've seen a lot of people use the OEM headgasket in high horsepower builds as a fail safe. Since it'll be the first thing to go you can save everything else and they're relatively cheap and straight forward to replace.
