    1.75mm Head Gasket?

    This head gasket was in a package with a BMW parts label marked with part # 11 12 1 722 734, but the gasket itself is stamped 11 12 1 722 736.1.

Can't find this # anywhere and hoping someone can confirm it is the 1.75mm.

11121722734 is NLA 1.75mm which was replaced by 11121722737

Is it BMW original? Can't tell from that pic.

Yes, originally purchased at dealer, but when I talked to my two dealer parts guys, they say the one ending 736 doesn't come up in ETK, and I can't see it in realoem.

I believe it actually is a superseded part number and is 1.75mm after searching some more though.

I'm gonna get the calipers out and measure I guess...

The 2.05mm gaskets are stamped "2.05" on the tab that sticks out of the head after installation (below #1 exhaust port).

Thanks, good to know, but when I first glanced at it and saw a "2" I started to panic since I just torqued down the head yesterday! But looks like it's "J 2,5". Guessing it stands for 2.5L.
