looks good, but I'm curious what advantages kevlar has? I went with a standard sachs sport clutch, they also offered a kevlar version (I think) for $50 more. I was told that kevlar offered more grip but at the expense of clutch and flywheel life. of course the regular sport clutch is probably enough for my stroker anyway..

no, I didn't. I heard from a single person who has never had a kevlar clutch, I have no idea if he was correct or not.

nice clutch. All though at least based on looking around at flyingbrickperformance the spec equivilent is usually quite a bit cheaper. What made you go with a clutchmasters setup?

I replaced my clutch with something the local parts house was offering... American or chinese made, I suppose. It exploded the first autocross I went to. Nothing left but fodder in the bottom of the transmission housing. The disk was nothing but metal, and thin enough that no damage was done the flywheel or pressure plate. I replaced it with a German made disk and everything has been fine since.

Lol, I went with it cause it was cheap... hehe. From a mate of mine who bought it for his Turbo e30 (M52B28 Turbo) and it can't take the power his car is making (the clutch is rated at 300hp)

Plus I'm running a std clutch Sachs sport clutch, and if u hammer it a little it really starts slipping... :(

So this should help a bit.

I was also worried a little about the kevlar and how it will affect the life of the Ally Flywheel... but I guess it will be seen.

Is your M52 friend putting out over 300hp?

Way more... last I heard it was about 450HP ... he can boost more, and make more power, but there is no point cause he can't get the power down.
