Doing the usual upgrades for an M20B25.. chip, injectors, and M30 AFM. I'm thinking of going with the M50 17.5lb injectors over the usual Ford 19lb injectors. Reason being they will waste a bit less fuel. 17.5 should be enough, right? Only other planned mods are some shorts headers at some point.

Well as long as the engine and afm are properly tuned to use 19lbers, the difference in fuel consumption between them and 17.5s should be negligible. Besides, 19lbers give more headroom (always nice), and I believe can be had for cheaper, since they're Ford pieces.This is your M20 on steroids:
