I'm looking at a 1989 325is at a local dealer and he claims it has the "stronger 2.7L motor" Is that even possible unless a swap was done?

So, find another car, or verify it still does have the correct, stock, m20b25 2.5l engine.Comment

The intake manifold on the eta will be more "rectangularish" than the "i". Also, try taking for a test drive and rev it up and see where it breaks.
