    Idle issue???

I just installed an adjustable fpr today and after the installation the car seems to have a high idle (running 50lbs of fuel), does anyone have any suggestions? My car has the 2.5 with 173 dme, m30 afm, 17# injectors, port matched, polished, and decked head (with a thin headgasket), hollowed out exhaust manifolds, magnaflow cat, muffler, and 2.5 inch exhaust.

You mentioned that you have a stock 173ecu in on your 2.5. I would suggest getting a tunable ecu. Like the MMS, MS, MS2 so that you can control your fuel and spark. You are giving your engine a lot more fuel and air then your computer thinks.

Thanks, I figured it out... all I had to do is unplug the vacum line that went to the stock fpr.

you need that vaccum line - it's to keep the FP constant during all engine loads. without it the engine will probably run lean (or really rich) at WOT.

I just actually plugged it up... I disconected my dme overnight and it seems to idle correctly now...
