Mine did the same..oil drops per second. At idle, it had a STEADY flow of oil..just at idle! My oil pressure switch was dead. It's plastic, so it over heats and cracks..and oil just spews out. Possibly check that out before you rip into your car. It's a 9 dollar part..and like 5 minutes to change. Maybe this is your issue..maybe it isn't. Just a thought.

From experience, the rear main seal, when bad, will leak after the engine has been shut off. I'd venture to say oil pan gasket based on your description, if it isn't coming from above and collecting on the lowest point.;)Comment

it leaks while its of,f just very slowly, when running its a steady stream, I"m going to keep looking around for clues, and hope its something simple

This will also happen if the oil pressure unit (or what I mentioned above) will also do this. If the car is off, it drips. If the car is on, a lot more oil comes out. Kamotors, check yours so you won't have to rip into your motor/tranny. I thought it was my oil pan gasket. I changed that. NOpe, didn't fix it. Then I was thinking it was the rear main seal. Thank GOD I checked out the oil pressure unit.
Put the front of your car on jacks. Get in the car. Start it. Leave it at idle, then raise the rpms. Have someone with you either in the car while you're looking under the car...or vice versa.M CoupeComment

It's located below (really close to) the oil filter. It's the only sensor going into that side of the block. Faces downwards. It's also possible that there's no crush washer in there, as that would allow some leaking possibly as well.

Oops, I haven't checked this thread lately. But yes, this is where it's located at. Good luck kamotors!M CoupeComment

the oil pressure switch can also leak through the body of the switch as well. it's definitely worth checking out.Comment

well, I don't like using stop leak stuff, but it was my last resort. I used bars rear main seal stop leak, and so far I've driven 100 miles and my leak is now about 75% smaller. After 2 hours of watching the car leak the spot was the size of a quarter instead of a cheeseburger:)
