No, I also put on rebuilt 17.5lb injectors, 8mm plug wires and a K&N cone filter w/ heatshield.

yeah, the M30 AFM was designed for a different engine with a different ECU and a different tune with a different calibration.

this may be worth a try, disconnect both battery wires, and touch them together. This completely clears any memory in the ECU. Connect the M30 AFM and then reconnect the battery.

This didnt happen to me but I'm just trying to help.

I let it idle for about 30 minutes after installing the M30 AFM, and then drove it to work and back to give it a good workout. Is there something I'm missing?

mine have black where yours have silver but they could have been paint stripped. Those are most definitely design 2s

I will look for the 2's

design 2's are the ones that are skinny then fat then skinny

Design 3's are about the same skinny size all the way down

At the junkyard I found a 96 mustang V6. The numbers on the injectors are 9F953. I haven't found anything on the internet as to what these are.

Design 2's are easier to come by and they also work better for the swap.

Thats why they are saying dont worry about it.
