    So is every m30 am a 027

If not is there a way to tell the difference?

I bought new design lll 19lb injectors and the 027 M30 AFM.
My engine is a 88 Supereta with i head and SSSquid 327i 14.5lb chip.

If I am not wrong I should be good with my chip, right?
Am I also right that I do not need to adjust the AFM?

    Thanks!
I am VERY curious about how this will work for you. I have a 88 seta swapped to I w a 173 stock ecu. No chip. greend top inj. idle comes and goes. some days silky smooth other days rough. seems to be rich. Always runs great through the RPM though. sounds like an 027 afm would help. Hows the SSSquid chip? and hows the M30 afm working on it?

So I also ordered a new ECU fro SSSquid.
As I am already very happy with his current chip I am curious how it will perform with the new one.

Don't you need to upgrade your ECU at the same time because the mapping will be different with your upgrade?

I'm not sure if that chip will suit your setup since it's designed for 14.5lb and you're running 19lb .. also you may need few changes in the AFM, better to have a afr gauge ..

replace the engine with something that makes more power. ;)

seriously, just get a chip. It makes a huge difference on the eta, but that's about all there is. Other "upgrades" are more likely to hurt than to help.

My guess is that there is something wrong with your injector harness connector. There's probably at least one corroded wire in there and when you unhooked it to take everything apart, you probably exaggerated the issue. Once I resoldered all of the wires, mine was good to go. Start it up, if you can, and move the harness around and see if causes a stumble, if it does, that's your issue.

i really don't think that this is caused by the AFM or injectors. are you sure everything is installed properly or maybe something got knocked loose while you were working on it. the only problem the M30 afm gave me was a rough idle and that goes away after a week.
