So while driving home from the store my coolant level check light comes on. I pulled over popped the hood to discover that the top coolant hose had popped off, clamp was loose. So i put it back on and tightened it up and drove it the few blocks back to the house, engine temp was fine. Coolant got all over the engine bay, should I rinse the engine bay out with some water? Also, do I need to bleed the system or anything, or is refilling the expansion tank fine?

Yes bleed the cooling system and replace any worn out clamps to prevent this in the future, if your going to spray your engine off then spray it when it is running.
