Well, this thread gives me some hope because I seem to have a similar situation, so I sort of have an idea where to look and what to look for. THX!!!

He doesn't have a k-swap, it's just what I yell at his JDM ass everyday.

Loose nuts where the intake plenum connects to the head. Thank you ladies and gentlemen.

Wow wish I had a mike and matt around here, I've been dealing with my crappy idle for 7 months after replacing similar parts. I never touched my intake plenum though. Im sure you all have seen my thread "$500 in parts now have stumbling issue" in General Tech. My wife sees my frustration and told me to go buy a new car. NEVAR!!!

because these cars are 20-25 years old and most of them have never had anything replaced in the engine bay other than basic neccesities.

I would like to test the fuel pressure, but all the fuel pressure testers at NAPA, autozone, etc. have threaded connectors for GM, Ford, etc. No one has a simple T connector with hose clamps. Any direction you can give me would be great as this is the next thing I need to check.
                      Thanks.
