What Head Gasket do i get?

    Hey fellas

Which head gasket should i get for my 2.7 stroker motor?, the following parts have been used for the conversion:

    885 (325i) worked head
    High compression pistons
    2.7 block

Can i use a 731 head gasket or would it be different? if its different, then do i get a 325i head gasket or a 325e gasket?

you help would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks

I would also like to know what is considered to be the head gasket to use on this configuration.....I know Metric Mechanic do a re-worked gasket with improved coolant passages, has anyone used their gasket and have feedback on its performance?
IE also do a motorsport/competition HG for $200.00....anyone know what that is?

B2702...What compression pistons are you using?

Just use a 325i gasket (its probably the same as 325e one) but 731 gaskets come from a block which is 80mm bore not 84mm like the 325i and 325e.
89 E30 325is Lachs Silber - currently M20B31, M20B33 in the works, stroked to the hilt...

Thanks Digger, also a quick question

If a car has a blown head gasket, will the car be able to start and drive?

        cheers

I have a blown HG and I was driving it for about a week before I saw the coolant and oil mixing and I still have to drive it about 8 miles to my shop. That is the last time until it is fixed
