Not sure if an "i" TB will fit an "e" manifold, but the "i" TB and manifold will fit an "e" head

    if that helps any...

The "i" is a larger bore, different heater and breather tube configuration and the studs may not fit either (not sure on the stud pattern).

You will have to run 1.3 Motronic to change to an i TB and intake.

the eta was designed as a low rpm, torque happy motor, hence the small tb. a "i" tb WILL fit once the tb opening in the manifold is opened up to a diameter that allows the "i" throttle blade to open.

its genuinely unlikely youll see any real performance improvement unless corresponding changes are made on the exhaust side of the motor,..............
