ETA is having an intermittent random starting issue.

I believe its the fuel pump thats inside the tank, but thats just a blind guess...

The issue: At completely random times (sometimes cold, sometimes warm) the car will take a longer time to start up. As I write this I wonder if its the cold start injector too.

Is there something obvious I should start with ?

If the car is above a certain temp, the cold start system will not be needed. I can understand if your car has a hard time starting only when cold, then this would indicate a cold start system. However, if your car is hard to start both hot and cold, then I would suspect a failing CPS sensor or AFM. If you have not replaced your engine ground cable, that can contribute to longer start crank times. A vacuum leak is also possible.

Thanks, thats a good start. I havent really paid complete attention to the details, but a few of those are easy to check to narrow down.

Thanks again. I'll report back eventually haha
